The Guest House
A brand for a farm + restaurant + hotel venture in Carbondale, one of Colorado’s oldest and most storied agriculture valleys.
Brandi has a very intuitive sense of what drives vision and work and communicates that well to people on the outside. And, her character is extremely high.

Website Design
I built the company a website on Squarespace.
Mural Painting
Below are a few images of a mural I painted in The Guest House’s Crystal River cabin and a shot I took of the property.
Brand & Brand Strategy
I walked key leadership of The Guest House through a brand strategy process, first using my own branding survey tool!, then taking the responses gathered and hosting additional staff meetings where ideas were presented and discussed, and eventually landed on a final strategy direction based on edits to one of the below brand archetype visions.
The final Guest House style guide took primarily from “The Magician” archetype and truly blended elements of masculine and feminine touches—highlighting both without neutralizing either.
Here’s the full set-up, with a logo designed by Daniel Quay, along with the company’s primary font styling, color palette, and inspirational images for not just future graphic design, but for everything from staff uniforms to interior and exterior build-out.
